After celebrating our fifth anniversary we forged into 2016 united around our mission of helping people find real life in Jesus and follow him completely more than ever. As a result we’ve grown and made a big impact on lives locally and globally.
And, chances are if you’ve been attending Authentic for any period of time, you have questions; Does Authentic just want to get big? Is it all about the numbers? Do they just want our money? Is it all just a produced show? I wanted to take some time to break things down for you so that you can see our heart for helping all people, regardless of where they land in their faith journey, take next steps toward spiritual maturity.
I’m stoked that this annual report will paint a very clear and inspiring picture that we are excited about the local church, lives being transformed by Jesus, and more people using their gifts by discovering their purpose and getting in their element to make a difference. Without your surrender of time, talents and treasure none of this would be possible and without your continued contribution of these gifts we won’t be able to expand the reach of the gospel across our county.
But, by the looks of things – I’m real confident that God is gonna continue to do even more. Here’s to keeping the white flag raised and to expecting an even more radiant year. Here’s a heart-felt thank you for your heart for God and his church. If after viewing our annual report you’re unclear about anything feel free to email email@example.com and one of our pastors or trustees can answer your questions.

Young Life Partnership
2016 was a fruitful year for the partnership between Authentic Church and Young Life in Westchester County! Young Life’s mission is Introducing teenagers to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.
We are thrilled to be partners with them as they reach local teenagers with the gospel. Their staff and volunteers meet kids on their turf and build relationships with them that lead to an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. Consider these highlights:
The High School group in Pelham took our largest trip ever (35 kids) to a week of summer camp, at Young Life’s Rockbridge (Goshen, VA) where kids heard and responded to the Gospel. Ac*ers served as leaders on that trip.
Wyldlife (middle school) Campaigners Bible study in Bronxville has been a steady group of 15-20 kids learning each week what it means to love God and love others.
We have hosted multiple offsite Wyldlife clubs (Rye Playland, Chelsea Piers, Paintball) where students have been able to bring their friends to hear the Gospel and meet caring Wyldlife leaders.
Authentic Church continues to be a home for many of our Young Life leaders.
Youth Shelter of Westchester Program in Mt.Vernon
We donated to the Youth Shelter Program in Mt. Vernon which helps young men that have been incarcerated reintegrate into the community in healthy and positive ways. $556 dollars to help a Westchester County program doing great work.
Village of Life
We continued support to end human trafficking in Ghana West Africa at the Village of Life.
Ima’s Home For Children
We’re making a difference in the lives of orphans in the Philippines.
White Plains Youth Bureau
We gave this local agency 5K to help underserved kids through their programming.
One Child Matters
One Child Matters serves over 40,000 children in 15 countries throughout the world.
The Nyeesha Family Story
In December 2016, a life group made a huge difference
in the life of a displaced family. We’re not the only
ones that gain when we group.
My Authentic Story
Meet Darrah. Hear her story.
We love watching people progress in their faith in Jesus and deeply own the vision by discovering their gifts and making a difference in the lives of others. Darrah is one of those people that get us excited every time we think about her story. We think you’ll be inspired too.

City Hills Church
We are passionate about other churches being planted especially in the Northeast. We’re honored to provide financial and prayer support to City Hills Church in the DC Metro area pastored by Jeffrey + Kimberly Goodman. In one year they saw a weekly attendance percentage increase in their weekly gatherings.
